Maneesh Sagar
Maneesh is a Director of investments at Connecticut Innovations and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, investing in and managing portfolio companies, primarily in the information technology sector.
Connecticut Innovations was an investor in a Shelton-based software company that Maneesh co-founded and was instrumental in growing, NeuVis (acquired by IBM Rational). He has over fifteen years of hands-on operational experience with technology start-ups including DataEase (acquired by Symantec) and Vendavo. Maneesh has worked with Fortune 500 companies as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He has held positions in corporate and business development, enterprise sales, product marketing and executive management. Maneesh graduated magna cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in economics management and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is actively involved with, and is a speaker for, events hosted by the Connecticut Venture Group (CVG), The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) TriState, Yale Entrepreneurial Society (YES), Connecticut Technology Council (CTC) and Columbia Business School. Chris Arsenault is a partner at MSBi Capital Partners in Montreal and has extensive experience in business development, strategic planning, sales, marketing and communications.
Chris has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial initiatives, including the ENABLIS Entrepreneurial Network Inc. Since 1998, has been involved as an investor and as a board member to a number of transactions at the seed stage level, including the seed and follow-on financing of Airborne Entertainment Inc. From 1998 to 2002, Chris was a member of the selection committee of Inno-Centre Inc., a Montreal based coaching and business service provider to technology start-ups. Chris was a partner and entrepreneur in residence with the Telesystem group, where, in addition to managing direct investments he was involved in the creation of a subsidiary for Teleglobe Inc. and a subsidiary for Microcell Telecommunications Inc. He helped built, since its inception, Wanted Technologies a business intelligence information and technology provider, and helped launch Copernic Technologies Inc., a leading agent based technology company. Chris began his business career in technology as founder and CEO of SIT Inc., an international Internet integrator and the first Netscape Communications software developer. |
